Were having a baby!

Yesterday we told our kids and announced to our families that we are expecting another baby! I am only 10 weeks along but I've had quite a few people ask me if I am, so I guess it's time to just let everyone know!

We sat the kids down and had them close their eyes for a surprise. Then I but a gift bow on my belly and had them open their eyes. Trajen had excitement in his eyes and figures out what it meant. He was surprised! But then he decided he didn't want a baby because they make messes and he's tired of cleaning up messes! Then Tavin chimes in, "and their so slobbery!" Tenley just sat there in a bit of a stuppor, but then added "I'm your baby!" Haha so that didn't go as well as I'd hoped!

I sent this picture out to my family-
Everyone is excited for us!

We were hoping to get pregnant a little sooner than we did, but will squeeze the birth in right before summer due April 24. I wanted my kids closer in age than not. There will be an 8 year span between them. And a 3 1/2 year between tenley and this baby. I am feeling ok but not great. Tired a lot. Luckily Jerron is around and I can get a nap when I need one. Hungry. Some cramping and upset stomach. And feel like my size is increasing rapidly!

We are excited to meet our new little one!

Sick Little Sis

Tenny threw up before bed last night. Then more liquids this morning. And again one more time. She just wants me to hold her and that is what I have been doing all day. Grateful Jerron is home today to help with Tavin so I can spend all my time snuggling her. Her skin is so clear and soft. Her curly hair is to die for. She is just perfect. She doesn't want anything to eat but will ask for toast and apple juice. She knows just what she wants and it makes me smile. I hope you get feeling better soon miss Tenley!

I Wub You, Mom

It is 2:18 AM. I am up and grateful.

I invited the boys to sleep over in my bed since Jer is in Provo. They happily obliged. An hour or two later I wake to find Trajen shaking in the bed and worry he is having a seizure. I watch him and talk to him. I don't think it was a seizure because after a few minutes he throws up in my bed. Shakes were from the sickness I think. So he throws up in my bed. Then in the laundry basket I offer him. Then I make a mess pouring the throw up in the toilet. So I resolve to throw the basket, toilet rug and sheets out to the yard to deal with tomorrow. I put tav in his bed and traj on the couch and me back to bed. Next thing I know tenley is crying and yelling for mom. I go and rock her and she seems fine. Back to bed. She screams for me 10 minutes later. It seems her nose is bothering her so I prop her up and she says she feels better. Asks for juice. I feel her sippy and tell her I love you Tenny. She replies I wub you too mom.

And although these events are not desirable, I'm so thankful for these kids to love and care for and I'm happy they love me too.

This Never Happens

This never happens. That Tenley will fall asleep like this. In my arms. We are at Granny's and she was having a hard time falling asleep for her nap
so I held her and ticked her back until finally she drifted off.

I love her perfectly smooth little face. I love the tiny little bow holding her curls from her eyes. I love her snuggled in her favorite blankie Pink. I love that she fell asleep in my arms today. I'm so lucky.

February's Summer Days

Wow, it has been one warm February! Today was the warmest yet. To be sure we enjoyed the sun, Ashley and I took the kids and Daisy for a long walk on the paved trail near my house. The kids helped make muffins and ate them outside (where Daisy stole Tavin's and we had a big showdown getting it back.  I did some spray painting and sitting in the sun. Trajen went exploring on a hill in the neighborhood with his friends. They had been making plans on the bus. He came home and said he needed to pack a snack and meet at Jaxon B's house. Boy did they have a good time. And boy are they getting independent. After that we went to Chilis for dinner since it was kids eat free night, and I didn't want to cook (like usual:). Then, as if that wasn't enough fun for one day, Dad and the boys went to the Lego Movie. Meanwhile, Tenny and I did a few fun things: a dance party in the shower, sang songs, and did puzzles. To top the day off, I got 95% of the laundry done. I'd say it was a great February day!

Million Dollar Smile

Trajen has a million dollar smile. When he is truly happy and showing his biggest smile, I am truly happy, too! His smile can totally make my day! When he got home from school I asked him how his day was. He said it was good! Soooo good! No reason why really, I guess. But boy his good mood sure can rub off on me. It's a warm February day. So warm he wore shorts to school. After enjoying his after school snack he was off to Gavin's to play for the next few hours. Then home for dinner and happy to do his chores so that he would be able to play the iPad. He was a pretty good boy all day! Then when he was in bed he had questions about his friend getting his tonsils out. And he couldn't wait for his dad to bring pup in to sleep with him for the night. I told him how I loved seeing him smile so big today and how happy it made me. He said well if you could see the big big smile I have in my face right now! Last he said there's one more thing that's missing. A hug and a kiss from you! That was enough to pull me off the comfy recliner in their room (where I sit while they settle down) and give him just that. I love my big boy. And I love to see him so happy. :)

Trajen's 7 Birthday

7! Wowza! That's really getting up there! And trajen was so excited about his birthday that he could not sleep the night before! True excitement. He woke to gifts from mom and dad out on the couch and after school he had a Star Wars party with 15 of his friends. It was crazy to say the least!! We will be cutting down the numbers next year I'm afraid. But the boys had a blast running around the Vivint building playing basketball, wallball and flying paper airplanes. They had pizza and made a complete mess of their cupcakes. Sheesh, they were a handful. And LOUD. haha. We he came home with lots and lots if fun gifts. I'd say the day was a success. Happy Birthday to one boy who enjoys living life! Love ya bud!

Tavin's 4th Birthday

Tavin had such a great birthday this year. He got is green cast off his arm the day before which was nice, but we still had to be careful the party didn't get to crazy! He woke up to a shark chair and presents out in the living room. Then we got ready for his "surprise" birthday party. He requested a surprise birthday party where all his friends would pop out and say surprise, even though he new about the party. So cute. We had a outdoorsman theme with camo and orange vest attire and hunting and fishing games. We did whatever he wanted which included ending the party with a story read by gramps. He thoroughly enjoyed each gift he opened exclaiming  "it's just what I wanted!" And thank you. Four is definitely a fun age, I loved every minute of this day with him.

Bridger's Baptism

Trajen, Tavin and Mom traveled to Provo for Bridger Allen's baptism. We had so much fun. Mom had a good time being toddler free and the boys had a blast with their best buds. The baptism was so nice and I am glad trajen was able to attend one before his own coming up this year. They had an awesome dinner after, of course, since the Beasley ladies are such great cooks. We stayed the night at Bridger and Roper's grandmas house "G". (The Allen's currently live in Lubbock)  Jen and I got to chat while the boys pretended to be ninjas, played Go Fish, the iPad and the Wii, and just had an all around crazy good time. They had a sleep over in the basement and gave big hugs when it was time to go in the morning. We love our Allen "cousins"!
